The correct usage can prevent your battery from defective and keep it in good condition:

According to the characteristics of lithium-ion battery, if it is not used for a long time, the stored battery should be recharged every 3-6 months, and it is appropriate to keep it at 40%-70%. It is not suitable to be fully charged.The battery should be stored in a dry environment at 40°F~100°F (4°C~35°C) or in moisture-proof packaging. Keep away from heat sources, and don’t place it in direct sunlight. Normally, the recharging temperature range should be 32°F~113°F (0°C~45°C), and the discharging temperature range should be -4°F~140°F (-20°C~60°C). Lithium-ion batteries can adapt to a wide temperature range when being used. They can still be used outdoors in winter, but the capacity will decrease a lot. If they are returned indoors, the capacity can be restored.The best charging time for the battery is about 30%-50% of the remaining power, in this period the battery is relatively stable. Recharging the battery before it is completely exhausted, otherwise it will damage the battery and cause defective, reduce its lifetime.
