This review is for both the Inner bug-net tent, and the Outer rain cape-shelter.
I have a few Onewind products with which I am quite well satisfied, thus my purchase of this shelter system. The manufacture seems well done, proper taping of seams and sewing, decent zippers, but for the price, the materials seem rather flimsy for the intended purposes (camping, emergency shelter, under less than ideal conditions). I would have liked to see this system made out of more substantial materials, such as the Onewind hammocks are. For the inner bug net/tent, you w i l l wa n t some kind of a ground sheet to protect the bottom. Not needing to be made to Military Specifications, but it could be better than it is now. Also, while the width is sufficient for side to side movement and rolling over, and the height sufficient for relatively easy ingress/egress, and sitting up, the length is barely acceptable. I am 5'8" (68 inches) without shoes/boots. 5'9"-9.5" with. Lengthwise I barely fit inside, but anyone taller than myself would definitely be compromised size-wise. I DID carefully look at the factory advertising and specifications before the purchase. Perhaps they need revision. I didn't leave this outside in the weather so I can't speak to how waterproof it actually is. It s e e m s adequate.
Onewind could have had a 5 Star + winner here IF they had designed this to accommodate users of average to somewhat tall stature, and used just a slightly higher quality of materials. Yes, it's extremely light weight. But I'd rather pack an extra 1/2 or 3/4 pound for a shelter that's large enough to fit an average height person, and a little better materials. If you are only going to use the cape a l o n e as shelter, you could get a f e w more inches Lengthwise by lowering the height. I'll be keeping it because it's usable, easy enough to deploy/set up, the two components are compact enough to fit in my car emergency bag, and it's a 35 mile round trip to the UPS to return it. It was also missing the guy line for the support walking staff/pole. It's only a .25 cent piece of cordage, but if it's supposed to be included, it should be. For the price of the two components, the overall execution could have been much, much better. Basically $100 for both components… NOT worth it.
