Why does my voltmeter only show 70-80V when testing the inverter output, while the inverter screen shows 120V?

This is not a defect or malfunction. The issue is likely because your voltmeter isn’t using the correct measurement mode. This is a modified sine wave inverter, so make sure your voltmeter supports RMS or True RMS (TRMS) mode for accurate readings.

My appliance is under 4000W, but it still doesn’t work properly. Why?

Please ensure:

1.Your battery capacity is large enough (200AH or more is recommended).

2.You have connected both sets of cables.

What size inverter should I buy?

Always choose an inverter with a higher power rating than your appliances. If your coffee machine is 2000W, a 3000W or 4000W inverter would be a good choice. Not sure? Feel free to tell us for professional advice.

Can I use the inverter while charging the battery at the same time?

No. The charger’s voltage is usually higher than the battery’s, which can trigger the inverter’s over-voltage protection if used simultaneously.
