The Hovsco family bike with child seat is a present for my Daughter. First impressions is that it was packed well. The bike it self is very nice, and Assembly wasn’t to hard. I recommend this bike anyone.

The instructions are hard to follow. I had to reference YouTube for the instructions. Also, there were scratches on the frame and the reflectors were broken.

I had some issue with the torque sensor, but once I contacted the support line they were very helpful and already sending me the new parts

Update: Received new screen but the screen is unbranded which is concerning. The first screen that came with the bike broken had the Hovsco logo on it. Now that I have swapped out and reconnected all the cables the screen works but the bike will no longer connect to the app. If you’re looking for an e-bike just buy local to you and have a reputable shop ensure everything works. I should have known this was too good to be true.
Spent nearly three hours assembling the bike, only to discover that the display screen was cracked once I removed the protective film. The screen won’t turn on at all, so while the bike seems like it might work mechanically, I have no way of knowing for sure.
For a $1,000 purchase, this is pretty disappointing, especially after investing so much time in assembly. I’m really hoping Amazon or Hovsco can send a replacement display, because I’m not going to disassemble the entire bike and reassemble a new one just to fix a defective screen.

Good bike to ride with kids. Knocked 1 star for frame had paint defect or shipping damage and rear derailer needed adjustment. Other than that good bike.

I was drawn to the sharp black finish, and it looks even better in person. More importantly, this bike is built to perform. The integrated child seat is a game-changer for school drop-offs—it's solid and my son feels secure. The 1300W motor provides plenty of pep for our daily routes, and the suspension ensures a comfy ride for both of us. I especially appreciate the strong hydraulic brakes for those quick stops. The app is handy for tracking battery levels. It's sturdy, reliable, and our go-to for family fun.

The HovCart Cargo Bike is comfortable, stable, and great for daily use. I like the modern design, the quiet motor, the smooth cadence sensor, and the spacious kid cargo area. I also recommend adding a motorcycle-style harness for better child safety.
Assembly could be easier—you have to remove the whole seat to install the grab bars, and some bolts are hard to reach. The tires also look bigger in the photos than they really are. A stronger 25Ah battery option would also make it better for long rides.
Overall, it’s a solid and practical cargo e-bike with room for improvement.
