This Appalachian Trail Hiking Medallion is made to resemble an old AT trail marker. Hiking Medallions are increasingly popular in the United States and have been a long standing tradition in Europe. These medallions may be gently shaped to fit on hiking staffs, paddles, etc. Pre-drilling holes for the included nails is recommended to affix your medallion.
