These are awesome! We have a 30 amp pop up camper and used these generators boondocking on the beach. They did great! Everything worked flawlessly. I attached an external 6 gallon gas tank and they worked all day and night. Noise level was also impressive. I couldn’t hear them over the waves or my camper’s AC unit when we were inside. Loud when standing right next to them, obviously, but can still carry on a conversation without having to yell. They aren’t too heavy, I can carry one but myself. The seller was great, cheaper than buying directly from Honda, and when I had a question they got back to me quickly. After doing a lot of research, I’m very happy I went with these generators. I’m looking forward to years of happy beach camping!

Basically, as far as I can tell, it's either Honda 2200s or it's crap. I get that isn't true but it is amazing how good these are and how virtually everyone I run into doesn't trust alternatives.
I love the companion option (2200ic) to get enough combined starting watts to run the RV's generator. I also like the 20a regular plug on the companion unit (when the 2200ic is paired with the 2200i unit). One watchout, the 30amp plug in the companion unit is a locking plug that is a different size than the non-locking 30amp plug on many RV cables. Just make sure you buy a 30a locking to 30a non-locking adapter. It's something like $10.

Can't beat a honda. You can run these things from 15' away and have a regular decibel conversation. Have had nothing but amazing compliments with both generators. As well as can't beat the pairing that basically turns them into one power supply for half the price of the 4500 watt generator! Also fuel efficiency is impeccable. As for portability they are one of the lightest on the market but they still have a little weight to them. Elderly or toothpick ppl might want to ask for help

I bought two and piggy back them to use air conditioner in RV when camping. Much quieter than our champion generator. We can run these in the campground and not worry about somebody coming over and shooting us over the noise. We have left many a campground with angry people because of our champion generator. Love these people don't even know that they're on in the campground.

Very nice generators. Uses very little gas. Putting the 2 together, we can run more items in the house than the big enclosed model that we were gonna have installed and was gonna run us 4500.00 plus installation. happy with my purchase. Make sure you get your cables to go with these units.

Don't buy it, purchased new and won't run after Ethanol free gas used; taken to dealer within first month due to recall. Not doesn't run while tried to use for camping on only fourth nontaxing usage.
Fourth use and doesn't run right and can't operate camper w twin Hondas connection/First mo. Recall/Dealers do not wish to honor recall
I spent nearly $3000 on these two Hondas, brand new and this is not worth it. Supposed to have such a great reputation, better try only Made in USA from now on.
Husband, seasoned mechanic, doesn't use Ethanol gas and knows how to operate, a PE and has farm equipment, this has nearly brought our health and animal to brink of not being able to continue camping and lose more money from having to leave reserved site early after spending another several dollars.
Seriously, don't purchase them. They came highly recommended. They are not worth it. Paula Shafer
