For use with 35mm (1.38″) or 40mm (1.57″) framed solar panels. Made from corrosion resistant stainless steel. DLX Rocker Foot Mount Sets are the culmination of decades of RV solar installation experience. The mounts are designed to attach to the short sides of the solar panels, near the corners to allow for manual tilting. No penetration is needed when installed on fiberglass or metal roofs thanks to the VHB tape. When installing on rubber, TPO or any rough surface, the included mounting screws are recommended. The mount adapters attach to the solar panel with a bolt passing through a ¼” hole in each corner of the panel’s aluminum frame. Not all Solar Panels come with these holes and they have to be drilled on the bottom side of the frame, centered 1-3/8” from the short edge and 1” from the long edge. We recomend using a step drill bit for this.
A two piece stainless steel mount allows for panels to be tilted and removed from mounting surface for servicing and increased low horizon light production

Clean the mounting surface with 91% isopropyl alcohol. Place the panel with mounts on the roof, positioning it while mounts are semi-loose to allow natural alignment. Gradually tighten each bolt, keeping the L-Foot in position. Lift the panel, peel the tape cover off each mount foot, and place the panel back in the exact spot. Ensure each foot is flat; loosen knobs for adjustments if needed. Apply sealant (e.g., Terroson 5510 for non-TPO, Dicor 502LSW for TPO) to fully cover each mount foot.
